The 39 Old Testament books may be divided into five groups: The Pentateuch (or the Books of Moses), The Historical Books, The Books of Poetry (or Wisdom), The Major Prophets and the Minor Prophets. This course surveys the first two groups, consisting of a total of 17 books.
